I am an AI/ML Developer based in Kenya with a foundation in Statistics and Programming. I build intelligent systems that solve real-world problems—I don't just write code, I design solutions that create impact and empower ecosystems.
My mission is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and practical deployment across Africa and beyond.
Outside of my work, I'm passionate about giving back to the community through speaking, training, and mentorship, helping others grow and succeed in tech.
Developed and deployed machine learning models for agricultural technology solutions, focusing on smart irrigation systems and poultry farming optimization. Built predictive analytics pipelines that enabled data-driven decision-making for farmers, improving crop yield efficiency and livestock management through intelligent automation and real-time monitoring systems.
Served as a Project Manager, guiding organisers and participants through the hackathon experience. Provided technical mentorship, facilitated team collaboration, and ensured smooth execution of hackathon events over a three-month engagement, helping teams transform ideas into functional prototypes.
Lead, Google Developer Student Club
Led the campus developer community, organizing hackathons, inviting industry speakers, and delivering tech talks to help fellow students understand and adopt cutting-edge technologies. Built a culture of hands-on learning and collaborative problem-solving.
Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador
Organized workshops, study groups, and community events focused on Microsoft technologies and cloud computing. Empowered students to build technical skills through hands-on projects and collaborative learning experiences, fostering a thriving campus tech ecosystem.
Zindi Ambassador
Championing data science and AI competitions across Africa. As a Zindi Ambassador, I focus on hosting hackathons and connecting aspiring data scientists with real-world challenges, building a pipeline of AI talent ready to solve Africa's most pressing problems.
Volunteer, Google Developer Groups
Actively volunteer with Google Developer Groups, contributing to the organization of developer events, workshops, and community meetups that spread knowledge about Google technologies and empower developers across Kenya.
Through my years at Kenyatta University, apart from academics, I was involved in various activities including give-back community programs, problem-solving communities, and tech leadership roles such as Google Developer Student Club Lead and Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador, where I organized hackathons, invited speakers, and guided fellow students in building their technical skills.
Served as Academic Captain, leading and motivating fellow students towards academic excellence. Developed leadership, organizational, and mentorship skills that would later shape my approach to community building in the tech ecosystem.
